It’s official. Joe Biden will end Title 42. And we are about to have a full-scale invasion on our southern border.
Back up: Title 42 is the Trump-era immigration rule that empowered border officials to immediately turn away any illegal alien who crossed the border due to the risk of spreading covid inside the U.S.
We speculated in this newsletter two weeks back that this would happen but on Friday, the Biden regime officially announced that the policy will end on May 23.
Even Democrats are sounding alarm bells over what this will do to our national security.
Sen. Joe Manchin said: “We are already facing an unprecedented increase in migrants this year, and that will only get worse if the Administration ends the Title 42 policy.”
Sens. Kyrsten Sinema and Mark Kelley said: “Prematurely ending Title 42 without a comprehensive, workable plan would put at risk the health and safety of Arizona communities and migrants.”
Sen. Maggie Hassan: “Ending Title 42 prematurely will likely lead to a migrant surge that the administration does not appear to be ready for.”
Trump commented on Biden’s decision at a rally over the weekend, saying: “These extremists, these sick, sick extremists systematically dismantled the border security measures we put into place.”
The big picture: Since Biden took office, the number of illegals crossing the southern border has hit all-time highs.
Since March 2021, there have been between 150,000 and 215,000 encounters per month.
In FY2021, border patrol encounters with illegals hit an all-time high of nearly 2 million.
All signs point to 2022 breaking Biden’s 2021 records. Get ready for a major border crisis.
