Biden visits Greensboro to discuss supply shortage issues, While Alamance County is feeling the effects of a Biden Presidency

Biden makes a presidential visit to Greensboro to discuss shortages that have impacted businesses in Alamance County neighboring county to Greensboro’s Guilford County.
The event will take place at A&T, the nation’s largest historically Black college and university. But, the time and location were being kept a mystery. As many Right wing opponents of Biden were set to protest, and the fear of little turnout from “Biden Supporters” were probably to blame.
According to a White House press release, Joe Biden is scheduled to discuss “Building A Better America”, a bipartisan infrastructure plan tackling climate, transportation, and broadband service. The Biden Administration’s attempts to rebuild supply chains and lower the rising costs of inflation is also to be spoken about.
The Consumer Price Index, a measure of the average change in prices over time, rose 7.9 % from February 2021 to February 2022, following a rise of 7.5% from January 2022, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the U.S. Department of Labor.
Food prices increased 7.9% for the year ended February 2022, the largest 12-month advance since July 1981, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the U.S. Department of Labor.
The gasoline index rose 18.3% in March 2022, accounting for over half of all items’ monthly increases, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the U.S. Department of Labor.
For the residents of Alamance County in Burlington the supply shortage is present and a huge issue, while some news sources are downplaying the issues as a Resident of Alamance County I can tell you it’s an issue.
Biden last visited Greensboro in 2017 with First Lady Dr. Jill Biden as a speaker at the Guilford County’s Bryan Series of lecturers at the Greensboro Coliseum.
